This topic is specifically chosen because I have very personal experiences with this location. I always look back at the time I went to Daytona Beach because I had one group of friends going to Texas for spring break and another going to Daytona and until this day, I do not regret the decision I made. Great memories, great friends, why wouldn’t I want to choose this as my topic? The theme that I used was “Twenty-Twenty”. I chose this theme because the layout best fit for what I was going to be blogging about. I also chose it because of it colors. The colors stood out to me which I believed would keep the visitors engaged. I strictly stayed with the Alegreya theme for the font. I did this because many people tend to overuse different font styles; making the overall assignment look tacky and excessive. I wanted to be more simpler and straight to the point so it would be easier for all to understand.

Other information such as what I have learned from creating this blog is that WordPress is very beneficial. Playing around with it, I was able to discover multiple things that could benefit me in my personal field of work. Things such as creating a layout properly on a page/post and creating accessible links to another page. There’s so many ways to edit things and make it appealing to the eye. Overall, I enjoyed creating this blog and I hope you enjoyed it!

The article that I chose that was related to the Qlik sense application was “Jefferson Health”. The industry of the company is “Appointments Physician Practice Scheduling”. This Qlik application is used to standardize and centralize scheduling data. The audience for this application is towards physicians and central physicians who practice leadership.

What I found most interesting about this application was how organized it was. From providing the exact numbers of how many visits there were to showing the total appointments by day of the week, it clearly provides enough information about the upcoming schedules. It also provides what type of visit it is such as if the patient was new, an established patient, and more. Another thing that I liked is the fact that it also provided data on the cancellations of schedules and even their reasons why. This application is a major achievement because it was able to cut back on time that can be wasted waiting for people to come that decided not to, and physicians would be more prepared in the layout of their week.

1.) For the first site, I chose to talk about Sony in the first link (https://blog.us.playstation.com/). After analyzing the website, I immediately loved the fact that it updates you on what games are coming out in the near future, what games are going to be reworked on, and trends about the latest popular games (sales, extra map packs, etc.). I also enjoyed the fact that it provides a way to access free games if you become a PS Plus Member. However, a recommendation that I would recommend would be to organize the website a little bit better. It seems very compacted with videos and words and would probably look better if it was displayed in a “top to bottom” format.

Given the site genre, I would more than likely recommend it to some friends and family, but not a lot. I say this primarily because a lot of my family and friends do not play games but for the ones that do would somewhat enjoy this site. It provides a numerous amount of information about the PlayStation’s games, the actual systems itself, etc. It even goes back as far as discussing big sales for the PS3. Overall I enjoyed and would recommend this site to others.

2.) For the second site, I chose to talk about Angry Birds in the second link https://www.angrybirds.com/games/. What I liked most about this site is how easy it was to find whatever I desired to look for. They even provided animations and movies to watch of the game too (very entertaining). I honestly don’t see where the site owner/web master could do for improvement. It was very easy to look for everything and the designs of the site are very appealing to the eye.

Given the site genre, I would recommend this to friends and family. There are no difficulties in finding anything and for example, if an elderly were to go on this site, they would actually understand what they are doing. All you are doing is downloading the games you want to play, purchasing merchandise of the game, and watching animations/movies of the game. All of this is easily provided at the top of the screen and easy to read. Overall, I believe this site owner did a phenomenal job in creating this site.

1.) The first point that was important to me in the video was telling the truth. It amazes me on how difficult it is to tell the truth because humans are designed to lie. It’s important to me because in order for me to progress in life and to become a better individual as a whole, a lie can only take me so far. Whereas telling the truth may hurt some people, it pushes me to see the good and the bad that I possess.

2.) Another couple points that I found important was remembering who I am and asking for and accepting help. I enjoy receiving help from others because it gives me another sense of knowledge. They may think of things in different perspectives that I may not have thought of and it could be a better idea than mine (opening my eyes to newer and better ideas). Remembering who I am will always be important to me because in anything I do, I need to remember and realize that I am me and no one can take that away from me. These were the key points that were the most important to me in the video.
